The patented evaluation of the flame signal via the flicker frequency of the radiation of the forthcoming flame. All types of flames are detected by the automatic sensitivity evaluation. Adjustments are not required for commissioning or maintenance.
The KHM 20 rated only the flickering of the flame to be monitored, direct light radiations and any constant frequencies not lead to a flame detection. Disturbing extraneous light sources, for example, of fluorescent tubes or background radiation from glowing linings, are hidden. Interference or unwanted effects on the flame detection can be thereby avoided.
By means of the diopter which serves as interface of the flame monitor to the combustion chamber, the KHM can be adjusted over 20 diverse, optional available lenses, lenses, filters and pinhole to specific requirements.
An LED as the optical interface is a read-out of relevant operating parameters, such as the appearance of the flame modulation, current switching state, depending on the flame signal or serial number possible.
